Remember back in 1982, there was a little alien that we all fell in love with. E.T.
All he wanted to do was go HOME. Throughout the movie he was like a record on repeat, “E.T. phone home.”
Well, Home has been calling us for a long long time and like E.T., we have been trying our best to respond to its call.
Gurus and Sages of old have known that we have a homing beacon inside of us; a compass leading us back to the truth of who we are and the nature of reality.
This is why so many resonate with the Ram Dass quote, “We are all walking each other home.”
Of course we do, because Home has been calling us back to Self and to the remembrance of who we are and what our true origins are.
We feel the inner tug of, “there must be a better way”, it nudges us forward and upward along a path that is unknown yet familiar. There are intuitive sensations that make us question the status quo. These little white rabbits lead us down rabbit holes of expansion, exploration , deconstruction, evolution and new knowing. They draw us forward on unknown paths and adventures. This dynamic relationship with Life and ourselves is rich with symbolism and unexpected ah-ha moments that lead us ever closer to Home.
Home is calling, can you hear it?
Have you ever felt like an alien in a strange land?
Like you didn’t belong or fit in?
I often did.
I was super spiritual and an idealist for as long as I can remember. People would say, “you have rose colored glasses”, then proceed to tell me why the world could never be as kind or loving as I believed. I would inwardly shrug because I had a strong sense that it was possible.
Now, we are witnessing a shift of consciousness in our lifetime. It is a small step forward toward a new world. New ways of being with ourselves, each other and the plant. More sustainable, loving and respectful ways of being. We are awakening and our perception is changing. Many are feeling a sense of calling. They are hearing Home beckoning them to step into their sovereignty and purpose.
Most have been living in low states of being. Low level frequencies of survival; guilt, shame, fear, anger, grief and even violence. Remember, some violence is not physical, it is emotional, mental or spiritual. We tend to minimize this, but we are sensory beings and therefore, sensitive, these acts of violence, big and small, have traumatized us and influence how we interact with Life and one another. Many do not feel fully safe to be themselves; to express their authenticity in any given moment. Many live in a state of disassociation, disconnection or numbed by addictions to protect themselves from the pain they carry. They don’t know the roadmap home.
Of course they don’t. It is different for each of us, yet there are guidepost moments that we can look for to point us in the right direction and feelings that we can cultivate to assist in getting us there.
One of our first steps toward answering the call homeward is recognizing our traumas, giving them voice, grieving, soothing these wounded parts of ourselves and loving ourselves completely wounds and all.
A second step is creating a felt sense of safety in our body. Then after that a felt sense of belonging. This takes time. It takes building a dynamic rapport of trust within yourself so that you can begin to build safe connections with others. Power-with connections with others where you both meet in your full sovereignty and agency as equals. You communicate and live from a heart anchored place respecting yours and others boundaries.
One guidepost moment is recognizing that you have been abandoning yourself, not being true to your essence, in some way. There is often a feeling of grief that accompanies this and also a declaration and promise that it will no longer happen. That is a beginning point of being trust within needed for the journey Home.
Then comes the choice point. You know, the moment Life comes knocking on your heart door, asking you to do the thing that you long to do, but are afraid to do. Yeah, that moment is the next step in your spiral of growth and expansion. WHY?
Because it takes courage! Courage is 200 on the emotional frequency chart. It is the first life affirming feeling listed. Pride is 175 and every low frequency feeling listed above is lower than that! Courage is the bridge between lower states of being and higher states of being.
Of course it is! It takes courage to face our fears and take our initial steps toward change, growth, transformation and expansion.
So, we are presented with a choice. Do we want to stay or grow?
What choice is being presented to you right now? There is one, because there always is one. Like nature we continually grow and evolve.
The question is what will you choose?
Home is calling us!
“The ache for home lives in all of us. The safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.”
Maya Angelou | All God’s Children Need Traveling Shoes
Home is a state of being; a felt sense of sanctuary where we can be our Self. The Self that Life created. That Self is the one whose essence is love. It is the you inside of you that dreams beautiful dreams and is full of potential.
There are over 8 billion people on the planet. Inside each one is a dream seed of purpose and desire. Solutions and innovation reside inside of us. Things do not need to remain the way they are. We can experience and live from a higher baseline.
We are walking toward unlocking that experience. We are learning to differentiate what resonates with us and what does not. We are building our capacity to recognize, hold and sustain higher frequencies. We are learning to live from higher states of being and it feels good.
Those of us who are consciously learning to do this are doing our best to leave trail markers and guideposts, so others will more quickly find their way Home.
Once I developed a felt sense of safety and belonging, I felt Home in my being. I realized that Home had been calling me all along, much like Dorothy the power of Home had always been within me.
Now, I am being called to consciously assist others on their journey Home through creating a business that guides and serves those who are stepping into their courage to walk toward Home. This is my personal choice point and place of courage. Will I face my fears and sense of lack and create

Finding Home?
I am doing my best to continue on my journey Homeward which means saying, “yes”. Last week this choice became very clear to me, and I said, “yes” by turning down an opportunity that was good, but not my best and highest good. It would have diverted me from my path by dividing my focus and energy. So here I am, stepping into faith and answering the call of Home inside of me, so that I can continue to align more closely to my most authentic essence and true Self. It is a continual beautiful unfolding journey on the spiral of growth and transformation that leads us continually in ascension.
Since making my decision and commitment to myself regarding this, Life has supported me with lots of encouragement and synchronicities; that is how the universe responds when we step into courage. Now, is the time for me, this is my next step toward Home
